A hidden cherry blossom spot with relatively less people
Mapo Saebit Cultural Forest is a hidden gem where not even Korean locals visit that often. The location nonetheless boasts an unbelievable sunset view, due to its crystal clear scenery of Yeouido and the Han River. Originally a thermal power station restricted to the general public, the park was opened as most of the original facilities were moved underground. The power station was Korea's first thermal station, and is now the world's first urban underground station that ahieves safety and cleanliness at the same time.
